HomeBrain
Support
Available to every household
HomeBrain is a consumer smart-home platform available to any individual or household. It is not restricted to a company, employer, client, partner, or invited organization.
New household owners can install their own HomeBrain hub and create its first account from the iPhone, iPad, or web app. If a hub is already set up, sign in with an account stored on that household's hub.
Setup checklist
- Install a HomeBrain hub by following the public setup instructions, or confirm that your existing hub is online and reachable from the iPhone or iPad.
- Enter the full hub URL, including https:// when your hub uses HTTPS.
- On a fresh hub, choose Set Up New Hub to create the first household-owner account. On an initialized hub, sign in with your household account.
- Approve notifications, location, microphone, or speech recognition only if you want the related optional feature.
- For Apple Watch, install the companion app and use the Watch App screen on iPhone to choose and synchronize Watch features.
Common fixes
- Can't reach the hub: verify the hub URL, network or VPN connection, HTTPS certificate, and reverse-proxy configuration.
- Can't sign in: ask the household owner to confirm that the account is active and has HomeBrain access.
- Devices look offline: refresh the screen, then check the corresponding integration from the HomeBrain web console.
- Notifications do not arrive: enable notifications in Apple Settings and confirm that push notifications are enabled for the account.
- Watch data is stale: open the Watch App screen on iPhone and synchronize the current signed-in session and Watch layout.
Account deletion
Open Settings → Account → Delete Account in the iOS app, enter the current password, type DELETE, and confirm. This removes the account and account-specific records attributable to it. Shared household configuration, security records required by other authorized users, older operational logs that cannot be attributed to an account, and backups may remain under the hub operator's retention practices.
Contact support
You do not need a HomeBrain or third-party account to send this private request. Eligible administrators receive a normal system notification and must authenticate with an active, non-sandbox administrator account to retrieve the private request details.
Include enough detail to reproduce the issue, but never send passwords, access tokens, private hub URLs, home addresses, or device identifiers.
